GOOGLE 2-STEP VERIFICATION
ACC's Campus Information Technology provides Two-Factor Authentication(2FA) technology, adding an extra layer of protection for Alamance Community College online systems.
ACC requires the use of two factor authentication for anyone accessing college-wide systems.
Multi-factor authentication has become the standard for account protection. The first application to use multi-factor authentication at ACC will be Google Workspace aka Gmail.
Google refers to its version of multi-factor authentication as Google 2-Step Verification.
