Graham, N.C. - Alamance Community College (ACC), through the NCEdge Customized Training Program, has launched two major workforce development initiatives with Chick-fil-A Supply and RegO Products. These projects will deliver specialized training to more than 250 employees across Alamance County, supporting company growth and strengthening the local economy.

 

What is an NCEdge Customized Training Project?

NCEdge delivers personalized workforce training to North Carolina businesses, enabling organizations to upskill, reskill, and retain top talent through customized solutions. Through the NCEdge Customized Training Program, these companies are developing the next generation of industry leaders.

Chick-fil-A Supply

Chick-fil-A Supply is expanding its Mebane, N.C., distribution center to support up to 200 restaurants by 2026. To prepare for this growth, 170 employees are receiving customized training in leadership development, communication, conflict resolution, technical skills, and change management. This effort will prepare workers to meet increased operational demands and help serve up to 200 restaurants by 2026.

RegO Products

A long-standing manufacturer in Elon and Burlington, RegO Products is investing in training for 80 employees as part of its modernization and global growth strategy. Employees are being upskilled in advanced manufacturing systems, onboarding, leadership, and internal process improvements to boost productivity and competitiveness.

Together, these projects represent nearly $200,000 in workforce development investment. “By equipping more than 250 employees with new skills, these initiatives will create lasting impact for both businesses and the broader community,” said Lewis.
