Alamance Community College Sees 15% Enrollment Growth

Graham, N.C. — Alamance Community College (ACC) reports a 15% enrollment growth, reinforcing that the college’s strategic priorities and student-centered approach are making a measurable impact.

Final enrollment numbers for Spring 2026 show a 10.0% increase in headcount and a 15.5% increase in full-time equivalent (FTE) compared to Spring 2025.

This growth demonstrates the college’s ongoing focus on alignment, access, and innovation. Key initiatives include a unified approach to enrollment, a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance  student communication, and an  advising model that offers proactive, personalized support. Together, these efforts, led by dedicated faculty and staff, help students navigate their academic journeys more effectively while strengthening overall success.

“These numbers tell a powerful story,” said Dr. Ken Ingle, President of Alamance Community College. “They show that when we focus on clear communication, student support, and strong pathways to careers, students respond. Early indicators like this confirm that the work we’re doing is moving the college in the right direction.”

ACC’s enrollment growth reflects increased access to education and workforce training for residents of Alamance County. As more students enroll and persist, the community benefits from a stronger talent pipeline, a more skilled workforce, and greater economic opportunity.

“Our community should be incredibly proud of this momentum,” Dr. Ingle added. “Every student who enrolls at ACC is investing in their future, and in the future of Alamance County. This growth signals trust in the college and confidence in the role we play in supporting individuals, families, and local employers.”

As ACC continues to build on this success, the college remains committed to data-informed decision-making, strong community partnerships, and ensuring students have the support they need to complete their education and move confidently into the workforce.
