Mission Statement

The Office of Belonging supports the mission of Alamance Community College by
promoting a campus culture where every individual feels welcomed and valued.
Through collaboration and engagement, the office works to enhance the student
experience and contribute to an environment that supports academic success, personal growth, and community connection—consistent with the College’s commitment to student-centered learning.


Community Commitment Statement

Alamance Community College strives to maintain an environment where students,
faculty, staff, and visitors are treated with respect and dignity. The College encourages a setting where all individuals feel supported in their efforts to learn, work, and engage in campus life.

The College promotes open communication, respectful dialogue, and opportunities for constructive engagement across the campus community. These efforts are carried out in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and are intended to support a welcoming educational environment for all.
