ACC Expands Path to Bachelor’s Degrees Through NCCU Partnership
Eagle Connect offers eligible students guaranteed admission, transfer support and early access to university resources.
GRAHAM, N.C. — Alamance Community College students have a new opportunity to plan their path to a bachelor’s degree through Eagle Connect, a transfer partnership with North Carolina Central University.
The agreement, formalized Oct. 14 at the Raleigh Convention Center during the North Carolina Community College System Conference, strengthens ACC’s commitment to helping students access the education and support they need to achieve their goals. ACC was amoungst 8 other NC Community Colleges to make this commitment.
Through Eagle Connect, eligible ACC students can begin preparing for their transition to NCCU while completing their associate degree close to home. The program provides guaranteed admission for students who meet its requirements, along with a waived $50 application fee, guidance on course selection and support with early registration.
For students planning to earn a four-year degree, knowing what comes next can make a meaningful difference. Eagle Connect helps students identify courses that align with their intended major and understand the steps needed to continue their education.
The partnership also gives participating students opportunities to connect with NCCU before transferring. Students can access resources and experiences such as the James E. Shepard Memorial Library, career fairs, educational workshops and select campus events. These connections help students become familiar with the university and prepare for their next chapter.
The partnership supports ACC’s mission to prepare all members of its diverse community to succeed by connecting local educational opportunities with continued learning and future career goals.
