What Your Financial Aid Check Disbursement Might Look Like

Are you planning your finances for the semester? Let’s plan together. Here are a few financial aid scenarios. To see your award amount, please log into your self-service account or visit the Financial Aid Office in the Student Services Building.

To view the price of books/required materials, visit the Campus Bookstore in the bottom floor of main or online.

Financial aid is calculated at the freeze date of the course; therefore, there are multiple check disbursements throughout the semester. Please see the College’s calendar for those dates.

Check your self-service account for direct deposit information.

Enrollment Matters…

  • You must be enrolled in enough credits to qualify for each disbursement.

  • If you drop or choose not to start Term 2 classes, you may not get the 2nd disbursement.

  • Aid can be adjusted if credit hours change.

  • You must stay enrolled in courses in order to keep getting aid.

  • If you withdraw or choose not attend, the aid might be reduced or canceled.

  • Always check the school’s calendar for exact or tentative disbursement dates.
