Learn steps for that traditional “First Dance”, “Father-Daughter Dance” or other special occasions. The class includes American style Waltz, Fox Trot, Tango, Latin and Rhythm dances. Shag Dance
Shag Dance
Shag Dance is North Carolina’s official state dance. It is a type of swing dance that developed during the 1930’s and 40’s combining nimble footwork with upbeat rhythm and blues known as beach music. Recreation Classes
Golf
Golf
This course is appropriate for golfers at all levels from beginner to ‘business golfer’. Students will learn the rules & etiquette of playing golf. Instruction will be given for irons, putting, chipping & longer clubs, with complete instruction for alignment, grip & set-up. First class meets at Burlington Center. *Students are responsible for their own supplies and green fees. Golf clubs required except for the first class. Karate

Students will learn all stances, blocks, hand techniques, kicks and forms (Hyungs) required at the Beginner’s Level. Students will train in no contact sparring with the focus on learning distance, timing and control. Students will learn basic self-defense techniques for different scenarios.
