Western Governors University

Western Governors University (WGU) and ACC created a transfer agreement for students with an Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.  Students can transfer to WGU to major in business administration, information technology, K–12 teacher education, and health professions. 

WGU is a private, non-profit online institution offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  WGU uses competency-based programs rather than time-based, allowing students to progress through courses as soon as they can demonstrate mastery of the material. WGU’s online programs are mentor-supported and designed to fit into busy work and home schedules, assisting in the goal of building a future-ready workforce.
