EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER

This course provides the foundation for the student to function as an Emergency Medical Responder in various pre-hospital settings. After successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to provide basic assessments and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. The class consists of a combination of lecture, web-enhanced supplements, skills demonstration and practice, and simulated patient experiences.

Pre-Requisite: Possession of high school diploma or high school equivalence or successful completion of the TABE test.
