Shawn Guy holds a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University. Mr. Guy also has nearly 20 years of higher education experience, working in various areas related to student services. Over the years, Shawn has promoted higher education benefits and has helped numerous students enroll, matriculate, and graduate from college. Mr. Guy is enthusiastic about helping others and is a champion of underrepresented student populations. Shawn prides himself on helping all students reach their maximum potential.
Dr. Andre Davis
Student Success Coach
Dr. Andre Davis has a doctorate degree from Walden University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Social Impact Management and two Master’s degrees in Philosophy in Theology and an MBA. Dr. Davis has served students in higher education as an adjunct instructor in Continuing Education and TRIO programs over the last 4 years. He has been both an academic and life coach for students across several community colleges including Durham Technical Community College, Central Carolina Community College, and Piedmont Community College. Dr. Davis utilizes his professional and life experiences to share valuable lessons with students as they move toward achieving their goals.
Rhonda Jones has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology. Rhonda has over 10 years of experience in higher education in the areas of advising, registration, testing, and student government. Her prior work in Vocational Rehabilitation Services afforded her the opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities. Ms. Jones was a first-generation college student and strives to utilize her personal and professional experiences to help students persist and ultimately complete their post-secondary education.
