WBL 110: World of Work – Covers basic knowledge necessary for gaining and maintaining employment. Topics include job search skills, work ethic, meeting employer expectations, workplace safety, and human relations. Upon completion, students should be able to make the transition from school to work. (1 credit)
WBL 111: Work-based Learning – Internship placement with employer. Student completes 10 hours/wk or 160 hours over 16 weeks. (1 credit hour)
WBL 112: Work-based Learning – Internship placement with employer. Student completes 20 hours/wk or 320 hours over 16 weeks. (2 credit hours)
WBL 113: Work-based Learning – Internship placement with employer. Student completes 30 hours/wk or 480 hours over 16 weeks. (3 credit hours)
WBL 121: Work-based Learning – Internship placement with employer. Student completes 10-20/wk or 160 hours over 16 weeks. Allows student to complete a second WBL experience for credit. (1 credit hour)
WBL 122: Work-based Learning – Internship placement with employer. Student completes 10-20/wk or 320 over 16 weeks. Allows student to complete a second WBL experience for credit.
WBL 115: Work-Based Learning Seminar I (1 credit)
This course provides students with support during their work-based learning experience. Emphasis is placed on building on earlier career topics covered in WBL 110.
