To obtain credit by exam, a student must make application through his/her instructor to the associate dean. Regular tuition will be charged for all credit by examination (CE). The department head or the associate dean will develop and evaluate all proficiency examinations, and the student must attain a grade of a least 85% to be awarded credit for the course. Associate deans may also grant credit by exam for validated specialized technical training received in business or industry.
