The Fire Protection Technology curriculum provides both prospective and current firefighters with knowledge and skills in the technical, managerial and leadership areas necessary for advancement within the fire protection community. Consisting of both classroom work and practical exercises, students will gain hands-on experience that complements professional training and forms a foundation for continuous higher education in fire service.

Fire Protection Technology graduates earn $35,000 per year, and up to $39,000 with 5 years of experience.
