Remember: You must file a new financial aid application (FAFSA) every academic year.

Fall 2021

Priority deadline is March 15, 2021
Application Guarantee deadline is June 1, 2021
Document Guarantee deadline is July 5, 2021

Students who provide all documentation to the Financial Aid office by
the guarantee deadline will be awarded before Alamance Community
College’s first payment deadline. If documentation is provided after the
deadline, students may not have their award in place before tuition is
due. Students should make other arrangements to cover outstanding

Spring 2022

Priority deadline is July 19, 2021
Application Guarantee deadline is October 4, 2021
Document Guarantee deadline is November 8, 2021

Reminder, Summer Pell is back!

Starting summer 2021 Pell grant rules allow students to receive additional Pell Grant funds and accelerate their academic careers to finish their program of study sooner. A student may qualify by enrolling in a minimum of 6 credit hours in his/her major for the summer session. If there is not 6 hours in the students major, please refer him/her to the ACC Foundation application. Students do need to enroll in 12 hours to be considered full time for Pell purposes. Please guide students on appropriate course load in summer. Attached is the notification given to students. You may click HERE for our Summer Pell Policy.

Students still qualify for the Pell grant if the recipient does not use his/her full award in attending full time both fall and spring, any remaining funds can be used in the summer session if student meets the enrollment criteria.
