Planning and Producing Educational Video (Technology Bootcamp Series)
November 12 – December 17, 2021 (Asynchronous Delivery)
Videos effectively convey more information to a diverse audience of learners than a printed handout, but require planning, execution, polish, and posting to a reliable platform—far more than simply recording a video on a smartphone and posting it to social media. In this second video bootcamp, teachers will take a giant step toward creating and delivering video that will further the educational mission in their subject area. Working in a supportive group atmosphere, participants will practice the techniques of planning, producing, and sharing video that is designed to communicate quickly and effectively. Note: Video production is time-consuming and computer intensive. Participants will need a modern multimedia computer with at least 8 GB of memory.

How to Register:  Click on the link to the enrollment form directly below the course dates on the Academy Course Schedule page.

Participation Details:  Participants should plan to spend 5-7 hours per week on course assignments. Completers receive a certificate identifying number of contact hours attained, a $100 stipend, and a digital badge. (Course tuition is free.)  Further course information is found on the Academy Details web page.
