About The Program
ACC is credentialed by the N.C. Office of EMS as an advanced education institution,
with approval to conduct initial and continuing education training for Emergency Responder,
EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic, and is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation
of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
Alamance Community College offers quality training programs such as initial provider certification courses, BLS and ALS continuing education, and specialty courses for the experienced provider and, or the inexperienced community member.
Our mission at ACC is to continually meet the diverse needs of our community stakeholders providing the highest quality of education through a wide variety of innovative course offerings; thereby promoting a safer community.
Our program strives to develop students who are clinically competent, able to consistently demonstrate effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; all the while regularly exhibiting professional development and growth consistent with the program’s mission and expected outcomes.
