Basic Rider Course
The Basic Rider Course is aimed at beginning riders of all ages. The course consists a mixture of classroom and range time. Practical riding skills are developed in a controlled, off-street environment. The course is mandatory for motorcyclists under the age of 18 in the state of NC. Prerequisite: At least 6 months riding experience and 3,000 miles under your belt. The BRC2 is for someone who has been riding for a little while. Students must possess a valid motorcycle license/ motorcycle endorsement. Students must provide a street legal, properly licensed motorcycle and must show proof of insurance. If you normally carry a passenger, you may take the BRC2 with your passenger on board. The Passenger will also need to register and sign the waiver forms. COST FOR THE PASSENGER IS $30.00.
