CDL

Federal law that went into effect in February 2022 requires everyone seeking a new CDL license to take classroom and driving training through an approved provider. Alamance Community College is now partnering with Cross Country Truck Driving School in Burlington to offer CDL- class A and CDL- Class B courses.  CDL-A is 160 hours in length, CDL-B is 80.  Classes are offered on a rolling basis with new classes beginning very shortly after the previous one is complete. All classes will be held at the Cross Country Truck Driving School, located at 2609 Tucker St. Burlington.

CDL-A classes cost $2,180. CDL-B are $1,680. Classes meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Full-time classes meet Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesdays.  Part-time classes meet Saturday and Sunday only. There are potentially some need-based scholarships available to help with the cost.

For more information or a schedule of upcoming classes contact Dave Parker at 336-506-4322, or email dwparker547@alamancecc.edu
