Email Basics and Internet Safety

Learn the basics of email usage, common email features, how to add contacts and dates to an email calendar, avoiding spam and phishing scams, time saving tips for increased productivity, and on the job email rules and etiquette. Included is an introduction to Gmail. Understand the risks of internet safety and how to avoid them. NCRC Test & Work Keys Testing

ACC is now an official testing site for the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). The NCRC consists of three skills tests: applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information. ACC can also administer other work keys testing.  See the schedule below for pricing.  Call 336-506-4200 for more information. Instructor: Victoria Ringeisen 

  • Due to COVID, all testing is currently done in the evenings from 6-9 pm.

  • Due to COVID, students are required to bring their own headphones or earbuds.

  • Testing is 55 minutes per topic.

Attendance in the online Orientation Sessions is mandatory for enrollment into the class.  Workkeys (National Career Readiness Certificate Prep) class, also known as NCRC. This prep class is designed as an online self-paced course to prepare the learner for sitting in the Workkeys assessment.
