NEW! Photoshop CC - Online

Adobe Photoshop is photo editing, image creation, and graphics design software. The software provides many image editing features for raster (pixel boxed) images and vector graphics. Photoshop is specifically designed to allow users to create edit raster images in multiple layers. These overlays or layers can support transparency and can also act as masks or filters that can alter underlying images in layers below them. Intro to Graphic Design - face to face

Graphic design and information visualization are all around us. Words, pictures, charts, and maps are the elements that convey messages and influence decisions in both the digital and print worlds. This introductory class will teach you the principles of graphic design – proximity, alignment, repetition and contrast – and the tools you can use to create informative and compelling visualizations. You will be introduced to the main Adobe Creative Suite graphic design and online tools that can be used to create charts, maps and interactive graphics. Instructor: Andrea Martin

How to Fix Your Own Computer (face to face)

Computer repairs are part of modern life. Many of us have desktops, laptops, and smart devices, but when they break down or act strangely, solutions seem to be limited and often expensive. But they don’t have to be. With a little knowledge and effort, you can fix many of your own computer’s basic problems, regardless of what it is (PC, Mac, or tablet). This course will cover the basics of computer hardware and software, diagnosis of common problems, and solutions so that you can know how to fix everyday issues, talk to and understand technical support, and get your devices up and running. NCRC Test & Work Keys Testing

ACC is now an official testing site for the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). The NCRC consists of three skills tests: applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information. ACC can also administer other work keys testing.  See the schedule below for pricing.  Call 336-506-4200 for more information. Instructor: Victoria Ringeisen

National Career Readiness Certification

Attendance in the online Orientation Sessions is mandatory for enrollment into the class.  Workkeys (National Career Readiness Certificate Prep) class, also known as NCRC. This prep class is designed as an online self-paced course to prepare the learner for sitting in the Workkeys assessment.
