Code Red Cybersecurity Training

EC-Council’s Code Red web site houses a large variety of individual courses that address cyber topics. The Code Red Microdegree offers a unique form of learning experience that encourages a learner to acquire specialised skill sets in a relatively short amount of time. The Microdegree program is fee-based.

The Cybersecurity Supply/Demand Heat Map

Cybersecurity talent gaps exist across the country. Closing these gaps requires detailed knowledge of the cybersecurity workforce in your region. This interactive heat map provides a granular snapshot of demand and supply data for cybersecurity jobs at the state and metro area levels.

picoCTF – Free computer security game

picoCTF is a free computer security game targeted at middle and high school students, created by security experts at Carnegie Mellon University. The game consists of a series of challenges centered around a unique storyline where participants must reverse engineer, break, hack, decrypt, or do whatever it takes to solve the challenge. The challenges are all set up with the intent of being hacked, making it an excellent, legal way to get hands-on experience.

Anyone 13 and older can play picoCTF 2019 or picoCTF 2018 year-round for fun and learning.

The National Cyber League Official Site

The NCL is a defensive and offensive puzzle-based, capture-the-flag style cybersecurity competition. Its virtual training ground helps high school and college students prepare and test themselves against cybersecurity challenges that they will likely face in the workforce. All participants play the games simultaneously during Preseason, Individual Game and Team Game.

NCL allows players of all levels to enter. Between easy, medium and hard challenges, students have multiple opportunities to really shine in areas as they excel.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System

Common Vulnerability Scoring System, CVSS, is a vulnerability scoring system designed to provide an open and standardized method for rating IT vulnerabilities. This objective approach to characterizing vulnerabilities provides users with a clear and intuitive representation of a vulnerability.This site allows users to search by vendor, product, or date range to gain insights and then subsequently make more informed decisions when trying to mitigate risks posed by the vulnerabilities.

One of the only websites entirely dedicated to cyber security degrees at undergraduate and graduate levels. They have over 400 institutions in their database.

This site contains a curated guide to finding the right MBA program concentrating on cybersecurity. The guide includes a list of jobs that an online MBA in cybersecurity can prepare a person for and includes a list of some of the top online MBA programs in cybersecurity.
