How it works

By completing five courses over three semesters (Spring, Summer and Fall), you can earn:

(1)  Entry Network Technician Certificate from ACC

and gain specific knowledge aligned with three industry certifications:

(2)  Cisco CCNA

(3)  CompTIA Security+ 

(4)  MTA Security Fundamentals

What classes do I take?

Each cohort of the program begins in January.

  • NET-125 and SEC-110* in Spring (classes begin in January)
  • NET-126 in Summer (classes begin in May)
  • NET 225 in Fall (classes begin in August)

All classes can be taken online

*SEC 110 is offered every term (Spring, Summer, and Fall).

How do I get the certifications?

  • MTA exams can be taken through ACC and are FREE for our students!
  • A deep discount for the CCNA is earned based on the final exam score in NET-225.
  • You will need to schedule the CCNA and Security+ exams on your own at a testing center convenient for you.

The course fees follow the generic college structure which is based on the total number of credit hours per term.
