CCNA in a Year
Are you looking for an efficient way to “up skill” your resume? Do you want to advance in your IT Networking career? Are you ready to start a new career in IT? Alamance Community College’s Information Technology Department has the solution for you!
How it works
By completing five courses over three semesters (Spring, Summer and Fall), you can earn:
(1) Entry Network Technician Certificate from ACC
and gain specific knowledge aligned with three industry certifications:
(2) Cisco CCNA
(3) CompTIA Security+
(4) MTA Security Fundamentals
What classes do I take?
Each cohort of the program begins in January.
- NET-125 and SEC-110* in Spring (classes begin in January)
- NET-126 in Summer (classes begin in May)
- NET 225 in Fall (classes begin in August)
All classes can be taken online
*SEC 110 is offered every term (Spring, Summer, and Fall).
How do I get the certifications?
- MTA exams can be taken through ACC and are FREE for our students!
- A deep discount for the CCNA is earned based on the final exam score in NET-225.
- You will need to schedule the CCNA and Security+ exams on your own at a testing center convenient for you.
