2Plus at UNCG
Information about the 2Plus program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
Students completing an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree through the Business Technologies Division may seek admission to UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics through the 2Plus Program. The 2Plus Program is for North Carolina Community College students who hold an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Technology or Office Administration. To be eligible for this program, students must have at least a GPA of 2.3 and have completed their A.A.S. degree. Once accepted to UNCG, students must take an additional 60 – 80 hours of university courses to complete a bachelor’s degree.
Note: The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees offered through the Business Technologies Division are not University Transfer degrees. Students wishing to transfer to a North Carolina public four-year college or university should pursue the University Transfer Program through the Division of Arts and Sciences.
Many four-year colleges and universities will award transfer credit for courses completed in an A.A.S. program on a case-by-case basis. Students wishing to transfer to a four-year college or university are encouraged to contact an admissions counselor at the institution to which they are interested in transferring.
