Transcripts from other colleges must be official sealed copies and cannot be faxed to us. If you are applying for financial aid, you should notify the Financial Aid Office once all of your transcripts have been received by the Admissions Office.
Transcripts from high schools and GED institutions must be official copies and may be faxed only if done so directly from the high school or the school district office. ACC fax number: 336-506-4264.
Post-secondary transcripts received by the College are evaluated for transfer credit by an Admissions Counselor, following guidelines approved by the various academic departments. Transcripts are evaluated based on students’ program of study.
Outgoing ACC Transcript Requests
Outgoing transcripts from Alamance Community College, either official or unofficial, are provided at no charge. A 24-hour turnaround is required (weekends excluded). Transcripts cannot be faxed, but may be mailed to the address indicated on the request, or may be picked up by the student with a photo ID, or by the person specifically designated by the student per the signed transcript request.
Currently enrolled students (for-credit): Transcript requests are made via WebAdvisor.
Former students (for-credit): Transcript Request Form
- Official North Carolina GED® or HiSET® Transcripts can be ordered by the student from the NC HSE Records Office in Raleigh, NC.
- Official AHS Transcripts from any year may be made in the Literacy/Basic Skills Office.
- GED® from states other than NC: Contact the school in which the GED® was earned OR the state GED® Director’s office to obtain an official GED® transcript.
