ACC Announces 2023 Staff Member of the Year

(May 10, 2023) – Alamance Community College has announced that Marcelle Malone, Information Technology Technician, is the recipient of the 2023 Staff Member of the Year Award.

Employed at ACC since 2019 in the Information Services department, Malone previously worked as an IT Store Systems Support Technician with Performance, Inc. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from North Carolina Central University; a GIS Certificate from NC State University; and an Associate in Applied Science from Durham Technical Community College.

Faculty and staff at ACC often express appreciation for Malone’s service to the College in providing excellent customer service in resolving IT issues with determination and a smile. His leadership makes his campus clients feel at ease with his easy to understand explanations in resolving their IT issues.
