The Scott Family Collection of Alamance Community College will host a new online exhibit entitled “Henry Alvord Scott, A Life of Service” beginning on Thursday, April 22, at 12:00 noon.
Henry Alvord Scott, a lifelong resident of the Hawfields community of Alamance County, was a prominent dairy farmer and with his brother Ralph H. Scott, a co-founder of Melville Dairy.
This exhibit is viewable as a slide show and video. The exhibit will highlight aspects of Henry Scott’s life and his public service, highlighting his contributions to his church, community, and to the state of North Carolina.
