Alamance Community College will host a “College To Career Festival” on Saturday, February 8, giving prospective students opportunities to learn about college programs and engage in hands-on activities, demonstrations, and giveaways.
College To Career Festival will also feature artisans and vendors for “Made in Alamance Day” who will display and demonstrate unique products made in Alamance County and distributed nationally and internationally.
Prospective students of all ages who register their fill out a programs-of-interest card with the College on Feb. 8 will receive a free sample of Smitty’s Homemade Ice Cream’s newest flavor, Haw’s Rocky River. That ice cream was created for Alamance Community College and leverages the new student mascot, Haw the River Otter.
Mark the date: Saturday, Feb. 8, 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the Carrington-Scott main campus, I-85/40 Exit 150 in Haw River.
Among the opportunities for prospective students:
