Alamance Community College administrators and trustees officially opened a safer and modern staircase that connects three levels of the campus B-Building with a ribbon-cutting on April 10.

The capital improvement project to replace the interior stairwell began in October 2016. It consisted of complete demolition of the existing stairwell, followed by construction of an entirely new stairwell.

The demolition and new stairwell were funded, in part, by a grant from The Charles A. Cannon Charitable Trusts.
