the ACC English Instructors' Resource Site (Available to Instructors Only)
Follow these instructions to access the site:
1. Go to the Blackboard Login Page,
bookmark the page (or save to favorites) for easy access next time,
and click Login.
2. Type in your username and password (from e-mail message) and click Login.
3. If you have not done so previously, click Personal Information and change the password to something that you will remember.
4. Click English Resources on the right side of the page.
5. Click Information for policies, department directories, newsletters, and forms.
6. Click Syllabi for course plans and syllabi for English Department courses.
7. Click Documents for class handouts, film reviews, etc.
8. Click Links for useful Internet sites.
What is CEI? CEI is the statewide organization for community college English Instructors What will I find on the CEI web site? The directory information is passcoded and requires joining the organization, but the instructor/student helps are accessible without passcode. The opening page includes links to a writing and research guide that includes writing assignments and grammar/punctuation exercises. There is also a section with helps for students and instructors using Blackboard for online courses and supplements. Scroll through the index dropdown box to see what is available.
