1) Career Key is an interest inventory that can be accessed through the College Foundation Website.

2) The Princeton Review site includes a free assessment inventory. Go to
and choose Careers to access the Career Quiz. In addition it provides a short description of college majors available at most U.S. colleges and universities.

3) The Kiersey Temerament Sorter is a short assessment inventory that can help you identify your preferences in four major areas of your life. The inventory is offered free of charge 2-3 times/semester through the ACC Advising Center.

- Copy of Career Choices in N.C., a tabloid which includes an up-to-date list of the most prominent occupations in the state. This contains a short summary of what the job involves, average salaries, and projections on future vacancies in the field.
