The purpose of the Alamance Community College Board of Trustees is to govern the College within the framework of the Community Colleges Act, Chapter 115D of the General Statutes of North Carolina. The board of trustees is responsible for and approves the budgets for the financial operation of Alamance Community College.

The ACC Board of Trustees is responsible for providing adequate and competent administration for the efficient operation of Alamance Community College. The objective of the board of trustees is to ensure that the people of Alamance County are provided an educational institution that is sensitive and responsive to the educational needs of the community.
