Alamance Community College offers nontraditional courses as well as traditional courses. Nontraditional courses include Internet courses and courses by cassette tapes, which provide an opportunity for students to take courses requiring little or no time on campus. Nontraditional courses also include courses for high school students. These courses, called dual enrollment courses, allow high school students to earn college credit (tuition free) while they are dual enrolled at their high school and Alamance Community College.
