Need a fresh set of job skills? Unemployed? Getting laid off? Let us help get you back on track! Our professional and career education HRD courses help adults enhance their resume, market themselves, and explore a new career. HRD courses provide employability skills training and assistance to adults who are trying to find employment, transitioning back into the workforce, or working to redefine their professional niche in today’s global market. The Human Resource Development Department is here to assist you in achieving your employment goals.
HRD courses are FREE to those who meet any one of the following four criteria:
- You are currently unemployed
- You have received notification of a pending layoff
- You are working and eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit
- You are working and earn wages at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines
