NATIONAL CAREER READINESS CERTIFICATE (NCRC)

The "National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)" is a credential designed to assess and validate an individual's foundational workplace skills. This certificate is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the ACT WorkKeys assessments, which measure essential skills that employers seek in potential candidates. These skills include applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information.

NCRC TEST & WORK KEYS TESTING

ACC is now an official testing site for the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). All testing is by appointment only.

ACC offers official testing in the following areas;

  • Applied Math
  • Graphic Literacy
  • Workplace Documents
  • Applied Technology
  • Fit Assessment
  • Talent Assessment
  • Business Writing
  • Workplace Observation

You must register before scheduling an appointment to take the test.

Once your registration is received (within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays), you will receive an email confirmation and a list of available appointment times for testing.

Payment must be received 24 hours prior to your schedule appointment time for testing (excluding weekends and holidays).

Testing is 55 minutes per topic.

Applied Math - $20

Graphic Literacy - $20

Workplace Documents- $20

Applied Technology- $20

Fit Assessment- $20

Talent Assessment- $20

Business Writing- $30

Workplace Observation- $30

 

Retakes are available at Posted Rates

Students will receive an email reply within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) once the registration is received.

  • Make payment by phone (336-506-4318) or in person (Dillingham Center, 1304 Plaza Dr, Burlington M-F, 8 am- 5 pm.).

How do I access my NCRC Test scores?
  1. Set up an account with ACT National Career Readiness Certificate
  2. Visit myworkkeys.com or call ACT directly at 1-800-967-5539 to set up the account
  3. Log in to their account on myworkkeys.com and print off or reference any and all scores and certificates.
