Spanish Language Certificate

This 17-credit hour certificate will provide students with the conversational skills, written skills, and the cultural background knowledge needed to effectively communicate in Spanish in the workplace, community agencies, etc. All of the courses in this program are part of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement and can be used to help satisfy graduation requirements for A.A. and A.S. degree programs. All prerequisites must be met and the student must have at least a 2.0 overall grade point average in order to receive this certificate.

A prerequisite of this certificate program is showing proficiency at the Beginning Spanish II level as determined by testing or successful completion of SPA 112.

printSpanish Language Basic Certificate

This 14-credit hour certificate will provide students with a structured foundation of Spanish skills to handle successfully a limited number of basic communicative tasks in straightforward social situations.
