ACC To Host Free ‘Dream Career’ Workshop for Public Nov. 16

Are you unemployed? Underpaid? Unpromoted? Unhappy in your job?

If your work life fits any one of those descriptions, sign up for a free workshop, “Discover Your Dream Career.” to be held at Alamance Community College on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 6-8 p.m.

The “Discover Your Dream Career” workshop is geared toward non-traditional students, career changers, and the under- or unemployed.

Workshop participants will learn about:

  • Career/Interest Assessment – What Works for You
  • Hot Careers: Demand and Salaries
  • Enabling Your Dream: Resources at Alamance Community College
  • Your Career Questions Answered

Door prizes will be awarded.

“No employee should remain unsatisfied with their current job, especially when so many resources at ACC can help them achieve a better life through a better career,” said ACC President Dr. Algie Gatewood.
