How Do I Checkout Information?
All ACC students, faculty, staff, and community patrons must present a valid library card to check out materials. Library cards for students may be obtained by providing a student identification number and a photo i.d. at the circulation desk. The library card is NOT an official ACC student i.d.
Books – 7 at a time (30 days)
DVDs and Videos – 2 at a time (7 days)
Audio Books – 2 at a time (14 days)

How Do I Deal with Overdue or Lost Items?
The library charges replacement costs for all lost/missing books and videos. For severely overdue materials, a block will be placed on students access to his/her grades and transcripts until all materials are returned. The best thing to do contact the library. The good news is we don’t charge for overdue material that is returned in good condition.
How Do I Get Computer Access?
The library provides all patrons with public computer access. There are 20 PC workstations available for school work only. Simply sign in at each workstation. Computers have Internet access and Microsoft Office 2010. Free wireless access is provided throughout the library. The computers are for ACC related research and homework.
How Do I Find A Reserve?
Reserve items include course materials provided to the library by your instructors. These can include the course textbook, videos, and other items. Please keep in mind that not all instructors place items for every class on reserve, therefore we do not carry textbooks for all classes. Items are typically only available for use in the library, but loan periods for each item may vary depending on limits set by the instructors.
How Do I Print and Photocopying?
The library has one print workstation and one photocopier for patron use. Copies can be made for the cost of 5 cents per page.
How Do I Get Research Assistance?

How Do I Use A Study Room?
The library has three large study rooms available for group study. There is also a quiet study room for individual study. Use of the group study rooms requires the presence of two or more individuals. These rooms must be reserved ahead of time at the circulation desk for up to two hours at a time.
How Do I Use Electronic Resources?
The library provides access to a wide variety of electronic articles, books, and other materials via our website. Most of these resources require a user name and password that can be obtained in person or via telephone or email.
How Do I Request Interlibrary Loan?
The library provides interlibrary loan service to patrons requesting items that the library does not possess. Videos are normally not lent.
