Students who have never taken an online course administered through Blackboard should plan to attend one of the Introduction to Blackboard sessions where they will be introduced to the Blackboard course delivery software and receive instructions on how to get started with their online course. Students can access an orientation site before the semester starts at http://blackboard.alamancecc.edu. Students should use "accguest" as their username and password. This fully functioning course will give students the chance to become acclimated with Blackboard and to see what a typical course looks like before the semester starts.

Students should contact their instructor as soon as they register for further information about individual course orientations and getting started in their course.
