Option 1: Register Online Starting with Summer 2009 registration, Arts and Sciences students can register online through WebAdvisor. Starting with Spring 2010 registration, all students may register online. Before registering online, students should take the and check the for their course to make sure they have the correct software. Option 2: Registration with an Advisor Students can register for a distance education class through an advisor. Before meeting with an advisor, students should take the online self-assessment (see above) and check the technical requirement for the course. After these things have been done, the student can contact his/her advisor about signing up for the online course. Option 3: On-Campus Registration Sessions Students who want to register for an online or hybrid course during an on-campus registration session will be screened by an advisor. Rooms for Distance Learning Screening will vary according to the registration session. New Students (Degree seeking) New degree seeking students must follow all requirements for admission as listed in the admissions section of the Web site. Visiting Students (Non-degree seeking) If you are not completing a degree at ACC, you should fill out an application as a non-degree seeking student and send it to the Admissions Office. You will find information and an application form at this link: Procedures. All students are required to meet any existing course prerequisites. Visiting students who enroll for online/hybrid courses requiring prerequisites must provide official transcripts to the instructor or the Admissions Office prior to the first day of class. Students who do not provide evidence of having met the required prerequisites will be blocked from their online/hybrid courses until the proper documentation is on file. |
