SMALL BUSINESS COUNSELOR

The Center's staff includes a full-time expert who provides one-on-one confidential counseling and referrals to local professionals as well as government agencies and experts. No question is too simple or complicated. As a member of the Small Business Center Network, the director has many resources available for referrals for specialized situations. There is no charge for counseling or referrals.

We offer:

• Information on licensing, incorporating, taxes and more


• Help with designing and implementing a business plan


• Assistance with financial forecasting, including


• Cash flow projections


• Break even analysis


• Pro forma financial statements


• Assistance with small business loan packages


• Referrals to local and statewide resources

Group counseling sessions are also held monthly from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. These sessions give participants the advantage of getting answers to basic startup questions while learning from the veteran business instructor and from fellow entrepreneurs' questions.
