This program is designed to attract new industry to the county and to encourage existing industries to expand. Companies qualify for this program if they create a minimum of 12 new production jobs. The purpose is to plan, develop, and provide a training program for skilled labor to fill the new jobs. The program continues until employees reach an acceptable level of performance. This training can be done in the plant, on the College campus, or at other locations and can be either pre-employment or post-employment.
